Halloween is a great time for costume parties. However, if you’re tired of just going as a witch or renting that Superman costume every year, here are a few ideas on how to spice up your Halloween night with your spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend, and have a lot of fun in the process:
- Consider creating your own costumes based on a story or a show/movie idea that isn’t as popular as Batman or Supergirl. Some ideas can include Gomez and Morticia from the Adams Family, Hindley and Brady from See no Evil: The moors Murders, or even Chucky and Tiffany from The Bride of Chucky.
- Instead of just dressing up as a zombie couple, consider coming up with a new scary theme for your outfits. For example, combining zombies and aliens to make a zombie alien power couple costume can earn you some points for originality.
- Get creative with your accessories. A Halloween pumpkin-shaped bag or hat, or spider-shaped sunglasses can give your costumes that flare that no one at the party will expect.
Of course, a great costume pair will require some harmony. So, consider buying or making costumes based on the same theme, instead of going off and getting them individually. That way, you’ll look just perfect as the Halloween couple that everyone will admire.
